As a child I had a passion for drawing that was encouraged by my parents and teachers alike and ultimately led me to my career as a freelance illustrator.

Since graduating with first class honours from the Liverpool School of Art in 1989 I have illustrated more than 250 children's books for publishers worldwide. Although I specialise in this area, I also work on major advertising campaigns and for the design and editorial markets.

With the assistance of my wife and business partner Kathryn, a graphic designer, I am also able to offer a complete design and illustration package should you require it. Working closely together we are able to integrate the words and pictures to create imaginative page layouts.

My experience and technique allows me to turn around quality work very quickly enabling me to meet even the tightest of deadlines in a variety of styles.
